First time in the history of YFC, the YFC-Timai conducted an awareness programme on HIV & AIDs, STI and Health in sign language to the Disables of its camp on 26th March 2010.
Narmaya Tamang, a core comittee memeber from the Disabled category led the team. Other resource persons were Pema Tamang, former Disability Programme Incharge of Timai, Rita Kumari Dahal and Aita Sing Rai, Social Coordinators and Prem Gurung from AMDA.
Pema Tamang translated all the talks in sign language. The awareness programme was much liked by the particiapnta who have requested the YFC to conduct such programme in the days ahead too.
The total participants were 19 ( 8 Females, 11 Males).
